In the Haiti Community
Since the beginning of the pandemic, JCCH saw a need in the community for Corona Virus prevention and awareness. Since 2020, JCCH have been very active in many counties providing PPE and plenty of free Covid 19 Self Test Kits.
JCCH invited family, friends, and everyone to come out and enjoy food trucks, games, bouncy houses, face painting, caricatures, live entertainment, vendors, health resources and so much more. Also provided covid vaccines, held a blood drive, had nurses to check blood pressure and basic health services as well. The main focus was to educate the community on Juneteenth and empower them with knowledge.
During the Easter break, 2020, JCCH helped families by serving lunches to students and seniors. We fed lunches to 284 individuals in one week.
JCCH served hot dinners during the month of July, 2020, to help families save money during this epidemic. With the help of Coastal Community Action and our many volunteers we were able to serve 125 meals daily.

Since 2020, JCCH in partnership with great organizations like Peletah Ministries, Old North State Medical Society, & Jones County Health Department, have been very active in many counties providing vaccine shots.
The USDA FFWR Grant Program awarded approximately $667 million in grants through the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 funds. The Hispanic Federation & The US Department of Agriculture tasked JCCH with signing up 1000 workers that was affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic.
