Mission:

Jones County Community Hope is mission driven to impact, empower, and transform lives of residents living in under-served communities in Eastern NC; through education, health, and safety.

Our Strategies:

- Ensure services to provide for the basic human needs of the residents of Jones County and surrounding counties.

- Establish safe and viable neighborhoods.

- Develop partnerships that will enhance resources to support our rural environment and create opportunity for positive individual, family, and community growth.

- Create educational opportunities that will promote employment and economic growth.

Our Work:

- JCCH is working to finish construction for a building to serve as a hub for community programs. This building can also be used after a disaster for a maximum of 20 people to shelter.

- JCCH partners with the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC and currently serve over 3,000 individuals monthly with food boxes. JCCH has 74 seniors enrolled in the CSFP program and provide food boxes to them monthly.

- JCCH has consistently been providing COVID-19 awareness by passing out factual information, PPE, and presenting vaccine clinics through a partnership with Old North State Medical Society.

- JCCH ran an after school program for 3rd/4th graders called "Closing the Gap'; which addressed the learning loss that occurred during school closure due to COVID-19.
